Basic coverage included in most quotes is minimal (often a small amount per item or per kilo/pound). Ask about full-value protection or goods-in-transit insurance, what it costs, and what's excluded — owner-packed boxes are usually not covered for breakage. Photograph valuable items before the move and note any damage on the delivery sheet before the crew leaves.

Book 2-4 weeks ahead for a standard local move, and 6-8 weeks for peak periods — summer, the start and end of each month, and weekends, which sell out first. Last-minute slots exist midweek and mid-month, and some companies discount them.

A studio or 1-bedroom flat move typically runs HK$1,500-HK$4,000, a 2-bedroom HK$2,500-HK$7,000, and larger flats HK$4,500-HK$15,000. Quotes are per job based on your item list; stair access in walk-ups and podium carries add per-floor charges.
