In most large cities, yes — platform assemblers offer same-day and next-day slots outside peak periods. The crunch times are weekends, the end of the month (moving dates), and January/September in student cities. Booking 2-4 days ahead almost always gets you an evening or weekend slot at standard rates.

Reputable assemblers and platforms offer a workmanship guarantee — commonly 30 days to 1 year — covering re-tightening, alignment, and errors. It does not cover material defects (retailer's problem) or damage from moving the item afterwards. Ask what the guarantee covers and how to claim before booking.

Move boxes to the room where the furniture will stand — carrying between floors costs time you pay for. Clear floor space roughly twice the item's footprint, check all boxes arrived (count against the label), and decide the exact placement including distance from walls for doors and drawers to open. Both models exist. Per-item flat rates dominate for known flat-pack ranges (a bookcase, a bed frame, a PAX wardrobe each have a going rate), while hourly pricing suits mixed batches or unknown brands. Provincial rates are lower but assembler availability outside Metro Manila/Cebu is thin — retailer delivery-with-assembly is often the practical choice.

Most buildings require a work permit filed 1-2 days ahead, a gate pass listing the worker's name and ID, and sometimes a small permit fee or refundable deposit. Drilling is usually restricted to weekday daytime hours. Book the permit before the furniture delivery date.
