A zone is a group of sprinklers or drippers controlled by one valve, watering an area with similar needs. No backflow device where it's required, no zone-by-zone quote, no as-built diagram at handover, ignoring local water-restriction rules, and a design that waters everything on one zone regardless of plant needs. An installer who skips the backflow/compliance question is cutting a corner that can be illegal and unsafe.
