It should also state who supplies water and power, and what happens if rain forces a reschedule.

It is one of the cheapest kerb-appeal upgrades before selling or renting out a property. Estate agents consistently list exterior cleaning among the highest return-on-cost pre-sale jobs because it changes first impressions for a few hundred, not a few thousand. It will not fix structural issues, but it makes photos and viewings noticeably better.

Renting a machine costs a fraction of a pro visit, but consumer machines are slower, and the main risks are damage (etched concrete, stripped paint) and injury — a 3000+ PSI jet can cut skin. DIY makes sense for a small, flat concrete area. Hire a pro for two-storey walls, roofs, timber, render, or anything needing ladders or chemicals.

Dust and sand accumulation is constant, and most villa owners schedule an exterior wash 2-4 times a year, often after major sandstorms. Shaded, irrigated garden areas also grow algae despite the arid climate because of daily irrigation.
